Ferguson Halloween Party

We're trying to keep traditions strong and had our second annual Halloween party with the Ferguson side. Any excuse to get the family in costume I will take. Addie actually wore two costumes for it. Not only did she wear two but she wore them at the same time haha. As soon as she was done with our obligatory family photo she immediately put on her Owlette costume from PJ Masks over her Lex Murphy outfit. She is pretty excited and I love that she is enjoying everything Halloween. Next year the theme choice is hers and she has already planned it. That's my girl. :) I didn't get any pictures of her in her Owlette costume but I did get a million pictures (obviously exaggerating here) of Danny and Grant together. I just had to. :)

Jakers Tradition

Fall is full of some of my favorite family traditions and adding a fifth member to our little family has only made it better. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to go to Jaker's Jack-O-Lantern this year with how busy we have been but we were able to go and the kids definitely loved it so I'm glad we went. Well at least I think Grant would have liked it if he were awake for any of it. But the cute boy was asleep for the entire thing and was completely unaware that we even left the house for this pumpkin patch. I'm sure he'll enjoy it next year.

Donald by Day, Dino by Night

When I was pregnant with Hudson one of my best friends (Alyssa) gave me bags and bags of clothes that her little boys had grown out of. One of the outfits was a Donald Duck costume. I was pretty excited to use it and I set it aside so that I wouldn't forget about it. Despite my intentions I did forget. By the time I grabbed it to put it on Hudson I sadly found out that he had outgrown that size. He was a pretty chunky baby so the window of even fitting into this costume was short and I missed it. I made sure not to forget again and this time Grant got to wear it. It was even more adorable than I imagined it would be. If he wasn't already being a dinosaur for Halloween I would have highly considered basing the rest of the family costumes around him because he is so cute. For Grant's first Halloween he's going to have two costumes. He'll be Donald by day and a dino by night. With me as his mom it just makes sense that I go overboard on costumes. I mean if he is my last baby I might as well take full advantage. :)
And look at this little dinosaur!! I LOVE him!!

Cheeks!

Hudson has the best cheeks and the best run out of any kid I know so when I got this video of the combination of my two favorite things about him I almost died. I love it so much. I have probably watched it over twenty times myself and I cannot wait to show him when he's older. I mean he probably won't think it's as cute as I think it is but I still will. :)

Painting Pumpkins and Pizza Party with the Jolleys.

Today was a day of traditions. After our annual family Halloween party we headed over to paint pumpkins with one of my best friends and her family. We started this tradition when Addie was one and we have done it every year since. It consists of painting pumpkins and eating pizza and we love it. Our group has definitely grown over the past three years as we have added new babies to our families.
If they get married this picture is going into their wedding video haha.
These boys were ready for their naps.
