Port Aransas

A beach day is always a good day.
A beach day with the Olsens? Even better.
This was the best way to spend our first soccer free Saturday.

We found out the night before that the Harmons (who we had Thanksgiving dinner with) was also joining us. That turned out to be amazing because they got there first and saved us all a spot. Turns out going to the beach on Memorial Day weekend was also everyone else's plan. It was packed but because of the Harmons we had a great spot. Thank you Rachael!

Last Day of School

Their last day of school!
A little bittersweet knowing they won't be returning to Clear Spring Elementary in the fall but excited for this summer to begin.
They look so grown up compared to the first day of school.
The kids all did their own selfies on my phone haha.

Little Lunch Date

We took advantage of the big kids being in school on their last day and quickly had a little lunch date before the school kids got home. Shhh what they don't know won't hurt them haha.

I'm sure these two girls will be so excited to have a full summer with the other three home to play with.

Panthers vs Parents

Addie's soccer team had their final get together tonight for the season. They started it off with awards and nice remarks from the coaches then they had a players verse parents scrimmage game and it was so much fun. Even Hudson joined and played in the game and did pretty well. Grant and the twins watched from the sideline with another parent who had a little puppy. They didn't leave the puppy's side at all which was nice because then I joined the parents team. Danny scored two goals within the first five minutes and went easy on the girls the rest of the time. He definitely was the star of the parent's team though which was really fun to watch and play along. I think even Addie was a little proud that he was her dad. After the game the team kept up with tradition by all meeting at Dairy Queen for ice cream. This time our whole family joined them. Since finding out about the North Dakota job earlier this morning it felt like a nice night to celebrate. A lot of changes will be happening and we'll definitely miss this team Addie has been a part of for the past three seasons.
