The kids' school had a pancakes with Santa this morning and I was just as excited as the kids were about it. Mostly because I wasn't sure if we would get another chance to see Santa this year. We had a tradition of always seeing the same Santa at the Riverwoods in Provo and he was honestly the best one. We were already excited for the whole day because we planned on Sea World and starting our day doing this was just the cherry on top. Hudson saw one of his best friend's from his class and was so excited. I love seeing him in his world. He's loving school so much and has made some awesome friends at school. The pancakes were a hit especially with Rylee and Quinn. Santa was super nice and gave the kids his full attention. Addie asked him for rollerskates, Grant asked for a rainbow guitar and Hudson told him to get anything random and he'd be happy. This was the first Santa experience for Rylee and Quinn. They were too little last year and it was too cold to take them so I was really looking forward to them on Santa's lap. It went as I expected minus the tears. They were both soooo weary of him. They couldn't keep their eyes off of him. You could tell they did not trust this big guy. It was hilarious. After Santa we went and saw the Grinch. I had no idea that he would be there so that was a nice surprise. We've never done pictures with the Grinch before and the kids all loved him. Even Rylee and Quinn gave him high fives. I think they were just relieved they didn't have to sit on his lap. It was a fun morning before our fun filled day.
