Summer Lovin'

Our spring was filled with days at the park and our summer was filled with days at the pool. Addie was spoiled with so many swimsuits by her grandma Donna and each one was put to use. There were also several times where we took Addie to Grandma Colleen's yard and she played in the water with nothing but a diaper. Addie wasn't a fan of the water last year but this time around she was the complete opposite. She still isn't the most brave little girl when it comes to submerging herself but boy does she love going down the baby slides. I also took her to the splash pad a couple times and she loved it. She was scared of the high fountains and would wait for the water to completely go down before running through the splash pad. Yesterday was the last day of the swimming parks staying open and fall is approaching fast. We've been trying to hang on to the last bits of summer but the leaves are changing colors and the nights are becoming cooler. Here's to making new memories this fall!

I found these two gems of Addie at the pool from a year ago. She's grown up and changed so much in just the last 12 months. It's a little bittersweet, but more sweet than bitter. She's definitely at a fun age.
