 I couldn't help but go down memory lane looking at pictures of Addie. I can't believe she's seven years old. Here are just a sliver of some of my favorite pictures of my first little best friend.

 

 

 

Seventh Birthday Letter to Addie Rae

Dear Addie,

We kept teasing you that we were going to skip your birthday this year because we wanted you to stay six years old. Doesn't seven seem old? It's actually been so awesome to see all your growth this past year. You do seem so old now but in the coolest ways. This weekend we had three of your friends from school come over and there was one girl in particular who was struggling a bit. I watched you go above and beyond to help this friend feel more at home and it made me realize how kind, thoughtful and just so good of a friend you are to someone who was having a sad moment. It felt so special to have that opportunity to just watch you problem solve all on your own. We were able to talk about it after together and it didn't feel like an adult with a small kid. Instead it felt so much bigger than that. I am so proud of you and I cannot wait to have more of these experiences with you. I hope we always stay close. I'll always love hearing about everything going on in your life. I love you and I always will.

Little Bunnies

These babies went from being the tiniest girls who drowned in their clothes to now little scrumptious butter balls. 🐇🐇
