Happy Birthday Danny

This year all Danny wanted to do was to visit his favorite book store "The Painted Porch" and have everyone in the family pick out a new book. This was the same bookstore that we had to visit when we went on our anniversary trip to Galveston. Just like last time he asked me not to ask for the bookstore owner Ryan Holiday and just like last time I didn't listen. He's thanking me now for it though because he was there and we got a picture of them together! Ryan Holiday is an author that Danny loves and it turns out he was so excited to get a picture with him even though he wanted to play it cool like he didn't care. On our way out Ryan even threw in two of his books for free! He was so nice and it turned out to be such a great birthday for Danny. The only kids that actually picked out books were Rylee and Quinn, as the other three wanted to leave with toys instead which actually turned out better because the toys they picked were cheaper than the books would have been so we slightly saved some money. Danny got three new books for himself (not counting the two that Ryan gifted us) and I got a book that I've been wanting to read for awhile now called 'The Happiest Man on Earth'. Overall it was a great outing. We also stopped at Chick-fil-A for lunch which is Danny's favorite fast food place and it's a win for the kids which is always a nice bonus and then later had pizza for dinner which is also another family win.

Happy birthday Babe! We all love you so much.

The first picture was the only one I thought we would leave with. It was me being sneaky and getting him in the background but then I managed to get a real one in the end before we left. Turns out all I had to do was ask. I think it also helped that he saw we were buying so many things because of all our kids. Thanks kids.
Hudson and Quinnie
The two books we were gifted.
Rylee really really wanted us to buy this book for her. She kept calling it the princess book.
Quinnie gave her daddy her favorite toys. She says they're his presents.
We didn't have a number 5 so he blew out the old candles we had from Rylee and Quinn both turning 3.
