On Christmas Eve, after watching a Christmas movie we all went upstairs to find that Felix had left a note and gifts under the tree. The kids got their matching pajamas as per tradition and then after we baked some cookies to leave for Santa. We forgot carrots for the reindeer which seems to happen a lot over the years but we had celery on hand so that's good enough. Four of the five kids fell asleep so fast. Hudson was determined to stay up late to catch a glimpse of Santa. We finally made a deal with him that he could help mom and dad put some of our presents that we had bought under the tree if he'd go to sleep after that which he accepted and went straight to sleep after. He was more tired than he cared to admit.

Christmas 2024 🎄
This year we bought a second tree and decided to have the presents be put under the one in the basement. At first I wanted it on the main floor but now I'm glad we ended up doing the one in the basement.
Making sure this boy was asleep before Santa could come and finish the job.
I believe he has slept every night of the past month wearing this Santa hat.
Now we could finally go to sleep.
On Christmas morning the older kids all got up themselves as excited as can be and begged us to wake up the twins. We let them sleep until 7:30am before waking them up which the kids probably felt was too long, and were excited when we finally had everyone ready. We started by reading the scriptures and then opened up the stockings before opening up the rest of the presents.
I didn't take a lot of pictures and hardly any of their main presents but this year the things they mostly looked forward to were: Addie (Wings of Fire dragons), Hudson (more lego sets), Grant (three way walkie talkies), Quinn (Peppa Pig and princess toys) and Rylee (a kitty and princess toys). I got a giant puzzle organization board and Danny got a new Brandon Sanderson book and a Shakti pillow to go along with his Shakti mat.
My favorite gift was one Hudson had under the tree for Jesus.
"thanks for bringing us to earth Jeasas. thanks. love Hudson"
Rylee wanted a picture taken with her new kitty from Santa and her puppy from Opa.
Quinn wanted a cheesy smile picture taken of her.
Such a cute silly boy.
Turns out a little bunny or two came and visited sometime during the night.
Christmas Aftermath. It was pretty nice to have it contained in the basement.
We spent almost all day playing games as a family which I loved.
Tucking the girls in their beds at bedtime with their new plushies.
Our first Christmas in Fargo was a success.
