We did something this weekend that Danny and I haven't done since we were brand new newlyweds. We got a real Christmas tree. Thanks to Dave and Donna who met us at the Christmas tree lot and purchased it for us. It was super nice of them because I'm not sure what we would have done with it. Our fake tree was practically falling apart and we can't afford a new one right now. The kids loved the tree lot and running in between the rows of lined up Christmas trees. The babies didn't love it as much. They were cold. But they were cute.
We decorated it today and let Grant have the honor of putting the star on the tree this year. Dave and Donna also have us some Christmas lights so that we could decorate the outside of our home. That's something that Danny and I have never done but always wanted to. The kids have also been asking for a couple of years now. Even though it's not the biggest tree or fancy roof lights its perfect. We have a lot to thank them for just from this weekend. Thanks Dave and Donna!
