He's hilarious, snuggly, smart and the biggest Blippi fan out there. If you don't know who Blippi is then you probably don't have a toddler and have to deal with the excavator song always being stuck in your head. As obsessed as he is with Blippi we're double obsessed with this now three year old. I can't believe our little boy is three years old.
Danny made his Blippi dreams come true today by surprising Grant with his own little Blippi dress up. Not only did Danny dress up as Blippi but he also took it a notch better and became Blippi. He got so into character it was adorable. I think it made Grant's whole morning, he was so giddy.
His birthday celebrations didn't start today though. We threw him a family party at Grandma Great's house yesterday. She was super helpful and a generous host. She even waited to irrigate her lawn so that she could do it at the time of Grant's party which made him feel extra special. He loves her place more than any place in the world and we couldn't have picked a better place for him. Grant fell asleep in the car on the way to his party but once he realized where we were he was ready to party. All the kids enjoyed playing in the water while we had pizza from Domino's. For dessert we had donuts in Blippi colors complete with little excavator toppers. We also had a pinata but the only one available was a football but Grant didn't care that it didn't match his theme. He was just so excited for candy. Grant is a loved kid and I'm happy he was able to feel that this weekend.
