Father's Day 2023

This man. He prides himself in being a dad. He reads fatherhood books daily as part of his morning routine. When he gets home his phone is turned off and in another room. He doesn't want his kids to look at him and see the back of a phone. He leaves work at work so he can be present. He encourages nature exploration and playing in the dirt. He rewards the kids for reading chapter books as a way for them to learn to love getting lost in books and visualize endless possibilities as well as self potential. He gets down on his hands and knees to play and own on their levels to talk and more importantly to listen. It hasn't always been this way. We've been tired and grumpy and overwhelmed with life but I love that what he does as a dad is a conscious choice. All five kids love him and I love him. Happy Father's Day to the one we're lucky to have. 💙
How lucky am I to have these six beautiful souls in my life? So very lucky. So blessed.
